PACKING AND PRAYER PARTY

Our Packing and Prayer Party is an annual SMD tradition where families come together to go over the ins and out of Dress Rehhersal and Show Day information.

Be sure to bring your dancers costume(s), ziplock bag, dance shoes and tights, a pop up mesh hamper, your show tag that came with your costume and a photo of your dancer.
​
If you are a volunteer it is very important tat you attend this day.
SHOW PREP WEEK
DATE: JUNE 1ST - 5TH, 2026
This week we will run the show in order from start to finish. Classes will have different days and times than our regular schedule. This is to help the dancers understand which song and dance comes before them, so that at Dress Rehearsal they are better prepared. This also helps our team prepare.
Bring your dancer in their Dress Code attire per class this week on day and time of the modified schedule.
Schedule for Show Prep Week will be released in early May.

Teachers will go over transitions and spacing during each rehearsal. It is very important that your dancer attend this week.
​
Please do not direct your dancer in anyway during these rehearsals. Trust the SMD team to guide them through this process. We are excited to see this vision take form and thank you for your cooperation.
